Your Rights

George Halls Cycle Centre and are both UK based companies and comply with UK consumer law, including the "Distance Selling Regulations". This means that shopping with us is safe. You won't get fobbed off, ripped off or conned. You will get the items or parts you have ordered and we will endeavour to sort any problems you may have. Our terms and conditions below do not affect your statutory rights.

Distance selling regulations give you the right to cancel an order and return goods that may already have been dispatched upto 7 days from receipt.

Website Information

George Halls Cycle Centre and put a lot of time and effort into the accuracy of the information on this site. we often use descriptions, technical specifications and pictures from the manufacturers of the products, or pictures from our own studio.

Occassionally mistakes happen, but we do try and double check all information to minimalise this from happening. If you have purchased something based on a picture or given information on this site and it turns out to be incorrect, then we will be only too happy to replace or refund the product (providing it is unused). Check our returns policy below.


All orders recieved before 2.15pm GMT are dispatched same day. Any orders recieved after 2.15pm, after 8am on Saturdays, on Sundays and Bank Holiday Mondays are dispatched the following working day morning.

Items that are out of stock are marked as such on this site. If you have ordered an item that shows this, we will email you an estimated delivery time. If for whatever reason. we can not source the item within a reasonable length of time, we will inform you and issue a full refund.

Returns Policy

George Halls Cycle Centre and conform to the Distance Selling regulations, which are designed to protect you when buying items Mail Order.

We offer a flexible returns policy and are happy to accept items back for a refund or exchange if they do not fit, you have ordered the wrong item, has been damaged during delivery or if the item has a genuine fault. We will not refund an item if you have changed your mind or have found it cheaper else where.

Postage charged at point of order and customer postage costs for returning an order will not be refunded.

New Items

If you are returning a new item for any reason then:-

  • You need to contact us 1st stating your reason
  • You will then be given a returns number
  • Goods must be returned with 14 days of receipt
  • Goods must be in original packaging
  • Clothing must still have lables and swing tickets still attached
  • Goods must not be fitted or used
  • Goods must be returned with returns number
  • Goods must be returned in some form of seperate packaging.

Damaged or Faulty Items

All goods purchased from either George Halls Cycle Centre or are covered by a full warranty. The duration of this is a minimum of 6 months and often 1 year. Some manufacturers even offer an extended warranty over and above the 1 year period.

Warranties cover manufacturing faults and defects, but DO NOT cover damage through crashing, abuse, general wear and tear or modification. Please remember, here at, we all ride, we all know what capabilities products have, so please be honest. If you feel that a genuine fault has happened with a product purchased through us, we will be only too happy to help.

  • Goods must be clean or washed (if applicable).
  • Goods must be accompanied with a returns number
  • Goods must be returned within 14 days of contacting us.

Refunds or Exchanges

New items wanting an exchange due to the wrong size or wrong item being ordered will be done so FREE of any extra charge.

New items wanting a refund due to you ordering the wrong size or wrong item will be done so FREE of any charge. The refunding payment will be in the same form as the original payment, so if you paid by Paypal, you will be credited back into your paypal account, if you paid by a debit or credit card, then you will be refunded back onto the card.

Damaged or faulty returns wanting an exchange will be done so FREE of any extra charge.

Damaged or faulty returns wanting a refund will be issued a full refund of the original purchase price.


We do not refund any postage costs in returning items that are either the wrong size or part. We will refund 100% of the postage face value for items returned due to them being faulty and we will refund 100% of the postage face value if the item has been damaged in the original transit.
